Traditional Japanese kakejiku (hanging scroll) hand-painted on silk depicting a songbird perched among cherry blossoms. Executed in the single-stroke painting tradition and likely dating to the Taishō period (1912–1926), though similar examples continued to be produced into the mid-20th century.
