A mid-19th century cherry side table with turned legs and distinctive compressed bun feet. Solid cherry construction with lighter tones on the side, poplar secondary wood and a hand-cut dovetail drawer. A great small antique for use as a bedside table, lamp stand, or accent table.
Areas show natural age and character from 170+ years of use, so please review the photos. Recently stripped of a modern lacquer and refinished with a hand-rubbed tung oil varnish that brings out the deep red tone of the cherry while keeping a soft, period-appropriate satin finish. A quality reproduction of a period brass pull added.
